Receiving Automated Emails

Heres whats happening, we are sending out emails but we are recieving automated messages from certain contacts who are no longer with the company. By chance does anyone know how to remove them (automatically) from future communication with us? Appreciate any help.

Hi @RGellings ,
Thank you for reaching out to us!

At this time there is no way to remove them automatically, even in a workflow. It’s important to remove them from your marketing lists, because HubSpot will only remove contacts who have globally bounced. Contacts who have globally bounced are contacts who have bounced in many different portals and so HubSpot has already ‘flagged’ them and will automatically not send any email to them.

Here is a resource that goes over how to create a list of contacts who have bounced, and then delete them or use the list as a suppression list when you send your marketing emails. If you send an email from HubSpot that results in a high rate of negative engagement (e.g. bounces, spam reports), your email account will be placed in a suspension state. To prevent this issue, create lists to segment your contacts based on their interests and original source. Then suppress or delete any outdated or unengaged contacts from your account (more information here).

Additionally, I was able to find a post within our ideas forum that also suggests that we can use workflows to delete contacts permanently. If you would like for this functionality to exist I would recommend upvoting on this idea, this is where our Product team goes to receive feedback from our customers and also allows for other users to up-vote and comment on the idea.

You will have to remove them from your email list that is the final solution of it. As I was facing same with a list which was about boston home remodeling, After facing such issue. I hired a freelancer to remove them from our list. And the issue got fixed for us. So try to remove them manually as it is not available in the flow to remove them automatically.
