Hi, we just finished with implementing the Prospecting Workspace in HubSpot and we have got some questions.
What to do if a lead is stuck in a lead stage “attempting to connect”.
Is it possible to create an automation to change a lead status from “Attempting to connect” to “Disqualified” if the lead doesn’t respond after 30 days? If yes, could you share the best way to do it?
Do you have any better idea what to do with the leads that doesn’t respond ?
Hi @Xiawanbai,
Here’s a lead-based workflow that would do that exactly:
I would say that this is a great way to keep your prospecting workspace clean. If you wanted to, you could add a notification to the lead owner half-way before disqualifying the lead.
Additionally, consider setting the property value of the disqualification reason as well in this worklfow.
Best regards!
Thank you @karstenkoehler that’s very helpful.
I added the internal message and the Disqualification reason. Could you please check if that makes sense?
In the Unenrollment section, you added Connected, Qualified, and Disqualified. Is it for the leads that used to be in the Attempting stage but are now in the Connected, Qualified, and Disqualified stages to ensure that the leads are not moved by the workflow, right?
@Xiawanbai I would probably set up the notification so that it is sent after 3 weeks and the lead closes after 4 – to give the rep time to re-work the contact.
The unenrollment criteria are set up to make sure that the notification is sent if something happens on the lead. If they’re successfully contacted, qualified, disqualified, the notification shouldn’t be sent – so the moment that happens, they’re unenrolled. If you have different or additional stages, you would adjust accordingly.
