Currently when a Lead’s associated Contact is enrolled in a sequence and the Contact has an auto-reply setup, the Contact stays in the sequence but the Lead moves to the “Connected” lead stage.
Our process is to review all Leads recently updated as “Connected” and move them back to the “Attempting” stage if they progressed as a result of an auto-reply. The sequence tool is capable of recognizing auto-replies and keeping the Contact in the sequence. Our request is for the Lead object to recognize this as well and prevent the stage from updating to “Connected”.
