Prospecting Agent for B2C

Anyone using the prospecting agent for B2C.?Feature seems to be more B2B. Been using it during the free trial period and I think it could help with leads we have seen or have just made an inquiry. We have pricing tools on our website and I have been enrolling these contact into the agent, but wish the agent was a little more focused on B2C to nurture these contact more.

Hey @Rad_Dude, I hope that you are well!

Great question, thanks for asking the HubSpot Community!

I can confirm that the prospecting agent was designed first for sales-led prospecting motions.

Welcome to the Community @Rad_Dude! I’m with @Berangere on the suggestion to take your use case and ideas to the ideas forum. While the Agent was designed for the B2B space, asking for specific features or changes for B2C can’t hurt.

As to suggestions on how you might use it, here’s what I’m thinking. If your website has pricing tools, I’d use the agent only for people who cross a clear intent threshold, then route lower-intent contacts into Marketing Hub nurture, workflows, or lifecycle-based email sequences instead. That usually gives you better control over tone, frequency, and consumer-style pacing, while the prospecting agent handles the “someone just raised their hand” moment. I think overall for B2C, the most realistic use is to treat Prospecting Agent as more of a handoff layer rather than your whole nurture strategy. You could enroll high-intent contacts from pricing, quote, or inquiry events; use a selling profile per offer or segment; and have the agent draft the first few follow-ups. That approach aligns with how HubSpot describes rulesets and workflow-based enrollment, including triggers like page views and form submissions.

I hope that helps!

Hey @Rad_Dude !

Yes, the Breeze Prospecting Agent from HubSpot is a B2B sales tool. That said, the contacts you’re enrolling (pricing-tool inquiries) are exactly the warm, high-intent leads HubSpot handles well; they’re just a better fit for a nurture workflow than the agent. I’d trigger a Marketing Hub workflow off the pricing form submission, branch it by what they looked at, and layer in lead scoring to surface the hottest ones. Same nurturing outcome, no $1-per-lead charge, and it’s actually tuned for one-to-one. I wouldn’t expect the agent to move toward B2C either the current beta direction doubles down on account-based signals.

Hope this helps!

Hey @Rad_Dude , I had a similar experience. Right now, the Prospecting Agent definitely feels more optimized for B2B sales motions and longer buying cycles.

For B2C, I’ve found it works best with warm leads, people who’ve requested a quote, used a pricing calculator, or shown clear buying intent rather than as a broad nurture tool. Pairing it with HubSpot workflows for behavior-based nurturing tends to deliver better results.

I’d love to see HubSpot expand it with more B2C-specific playbooks, especially for shorter sales cycles and higher-volume lead nurturing.
