It’s great to be able to create views, but the people who would do that likely want those views to be their default views. Right now, you always have to remember to change the view every time you land on (for example) the Workflow screen. This is pretty inconvenient and would seem to be an easy fix - should be able to “pin” the view that you want to be your standard.
I agree, I’m surprised this isn’t available already. Your post was two years ago but as far as I can tell nothing has changed? In some objects the default view is one I have created, and in others it’s not. In all cases I drag my preferred view to the far left.
