Do you also experience performance issues using the CRM on your desktop?
Here are two examples
When I try to add a new contact on my laptop using Chrome, the sidebar slides in from the right instantly. But when I start entering customer data, the CPU and memory usage goes up to above 90%, and filling out the form gets very slow. Drop-down menus open slowly and going from one field to the next using the mouse pointer is painstakingly slow.
It takes about 7-8 sec to load a custom page from the sec I click on a name in the Contact table. Is this normal?
I have just recently started using the system so I don’t have a large dataset yet.
My gut feeling is that this is too slow.
I tested Salesmate before and I found that system way faster.
Hi @ARozsas ,
We are using HubSpot for quite a long time now but never faces this issue. HubSpot CRM works quite smoothly.
I wiuld suggest you to to test the portal on any other device, browser or network. Also try to clear cookies/cache/temp files too.
Hope this helps!
That is very unusual behavior. For troubleshooting, I’d suggest the following:
Test in private/incognito mode, making sure that all extensions are disabled
Clear browsing history including cache and cookies
Test different browser (Firefox, Edge)
Test different device
Test wifi / LAN versus mobile connection
Are you noticing any difference?
You mentioned that you don’t have a lot of records in your system so I’d assume this is a fresh portal. Did you customize your portal, are you using any integrations?
Yes, I am facing a similar issue. In general, the HubSpot UI is not the most responsive. Takes often several seconds to respond.
However, we have problems around the email functionality. After clicking on the Email tab for a contact, the system frequently becomes unresponsive for 10 to 30 seconds.
I have followed the troubleshooting tips and tested this with Safari, Chrome and Firefox and also with an Incognito window. That does not seem to make a material difference for the performance. I suspect some of the Javascript on the site to get into a deadlock.
It’s October 1 2024 and HubSpot is still slow. It downloads and renders each component separately which creates a very slow total page load speed, i.e. the time until the page is usable. For me, we’ve just started using HubSpot and loading a single basic contact (without any activity) takes 10 seconds to load with a Speedtest.net speed of 35/39 Mbps. If I use a different connection providing 110/9 Mbps, the speed is similar, around 9 seconds. If I use another connection at 20/35 Mbps, the load is around 16 seconds.
Before you ask me to clear cookies and cache, I’ve already ruled out all the usual suspects…
HubSpot is simply slow - this is due to the technical design, not content. This should be a priority as it makes it painful to use. I hope someone at HubSpot takes this to heart and has a serious look at end user performance of simple, core pages.
