Partitioning Data Sets

Hello Community,

We are a company that has just fully integrated Hubspot into our Marketing and all facets of our one side of the business. We are a Holdings company and we have two more companies that will be using Hubspot in the future.

We have one that we are trying to work with now and get into HubSpot with the second company. What we are struggling with is getting the Data to Partition. We want our One Business currently in to only see data from that buisness. Then the current buisness/ brand were working on now, we want to put them in to only see their company data.

Is this feat feasible and easy? Myself and Our CMO have been working on this issue for a week and have submitted a ticket for this. Any helpful insight would be helpful? We have the guides but they aren’t clear, mainly looking for any developers that have done this and can provide better insight how to do this cleanly.

thank you.

Hi @BRiegger,

Could you be a bit more specific about what kind of data you want to only make available to each company?

HubSpot has a great overview of which subscription options to choose depending on your requirements. For example, “If there are legal boundaries between your brands that shouldn’t be breached”, multiple accounts/portals are recommended.

Best regards

Yes, the insight we are trying to only show contacts, companies, and sales properties to each of the business units. Unfortunately we have tried to follow the guides but again they are really vague
