Can you configure Hubspot to route outgoing email through a different SMTP server?
Hi @NYonko ,
I guess you cannot route outgoing emails through a different server.
However if you’re using an Exchange email account to send personal emails to your contacts, you can connect this Exchange account to HubSpot.
Refer the article here.
Hope this helps!

Yes, HubSpot can be configured to route outgoing emails through a different SMTP server. Simply access your HubSpot settings, input the SMTP relay server details, and HubSpot will utilize that server for sending emails, ensuring reliable delivery tailored to your preferences.
HubSpot doesn’t offer native functionality to route outgoing emails through different SMTP servers, limiting flexibility for businesses with specific email delivery requirements. However, other CRM platforms like SMTPget, Salesforce and Zoho CRM provide this feature, allowing users to integrate with multiple SMTP servers for better management of outgoing emails. You can consider them according to your specific needs and budget.
I’ve used the services of SMTPget. I found their ability to route outgoing emails through different SMTP servers really helpful. It gives you the flexibility that HubSpot lacks. If you’re looking for more options, platforms like Salesforce and Zoho CRM also offer this feature.
To send outgoing emails via a different SMTP server, configure your email client with the SMTP server details (e.g., server address, port, and credentials). DigitalAka provides helpful solutions, so if this answers your query, kindly mark it as the solution to help others.
You can’t change the SMTP server for marketing emails in HubSpot directly. But for personal emails through Gmail or Outlook, you can connect using SMTP settings. If you’re looking for better control, tools like SMTPmart, SendGrid, or iDealSMTP might be worth checking out.
