What is it?
Users can now leverage custom quote templates when creating quotes in our quote wizard. Custom quote templates combine the power of our CRM, CMS, and payments tools to enable users to create personalized quoting, contracting, and invoicing experiences for their customers.
Why does it matter?
Historically, HubSpot sales customers have been able to use only three predefined templates for their quotes. These templates fall short for two reasons.
First, many customers need more control over how a quote might look and feel whether that’s changing what properties show up in the line items table, how the page is styled, adding additional information and more.
Second, you can only create quotes! Many customers would like to use HubSpot to send visually immersive proposals or complex contracts, which means fundamentally re-formatting a template to remove line items tables, add additional sections, or remove sections.
By combining the power of quotes and our CMS, custom quotes enable customers to create a variety of templates tailored to their exact commerce and quoting needs.
How does it work?
Super admins can go to “Customized Quote Templates” in Settings > Objects > Quotes, then select Customized Quote Template, select a design (e.g. Modern, Basic, Original), make customizations and name the template, then save it.
Once a template is saved, it will appear in the quote template dropdown in the quote creation flow. Sales reps can leverage custom or standard quotes in the quote wizard. By choosing a custom template, they will ensure they can share detailed and personalized quotes with their clients without the overhead of adding snippets or additional settings.
Developers can create custom themes, templates, and modules for quotes using the same tools and languages they use for the CMS. They can package quote templates in a theme alongside landing pages, website, and blog templates to ensure consistency of data and brand across their customer’s entire digital presence.

Who gets it?
Super admins with Sales Hub Pro or Enterprise. Developers require access to the design manager with CMS starter+ or Marketing Hub Pro+ to develop quote templates.
