Missing subscription when importing contacts

Hi all,

When importing contacts into Hubspot I am receiving the following error, missing the Marketing Information susbcription. Apparently subscription information is being included when donde the import. Could a property be created to differentiate subscription types or what is the best practice for this cases.

Hi @CCastilla9,

Subscription opt-ins or status are not set during the import. There is no such setting. After importing, you would have to make sure to update your contacts accordingly: Manage your contacts' messaging subscriptions

What you’re setting during import is the legal basis for data processing, not for communication (subscription opt-in).
