We are struggling with out Lists and imports on HubSpot.

We upload the events leads in bulk and we also set these as Marketing Contacts. Since they have already opted in.

If I then set up an email marketing campaign… I currently still have to go in and change every single contact in the list to a marketing subscription. Manually and sometimes up to 300 contacts

How can this be done either at the stage of import or as a buld upgrade

You can update subscriptions in bulk by following these steps: Manage your contacts' messaging subscriptions

Setting contacts as marketing during import is a billing feature, not a subscription feature. That’s why it might seem like you have to do things twice. You can learn more about this here: Understand marketing contacts
