Hello HubSpot Team,
As a paying customer, I rely on the HubSpot mobile app’s voice-to-text feature to capture field meeting notes. However, any notes I record using this feature are stored in the timeline activity feed and are not accessible for reporting, API queries, exports, or automation.
This is extremely frustrating because:
- I can see my notes in the app, but I can’t include them in custom views, reports, or exports.
- There’s no way to automate or search on these notes, defeating major efficiencies HubSpot is supposed to provide.
- I am forced to use manual workarounds, which is not acceptable for the price point.
Request:
Please update the HubSpot mobile app and web interface so that meeting notes (especially those captured via voice-to-text) are reliably stored in a property like “Internal Meeting Notes” or “Meeting Description”—or at least give users the option to configure this. This property data must be:
- Accessible through API/reporting tools
- Searchable, exportable, and available for workflow automation
This change would save field teams enormous time and greatly increase the value and usability of HubSpot CRM in real-world scenarios.
Thank you for your attention. This is a major productivity issue.
Best regards,
Ian James
