Marketing Events: Import errors

Hi All,

(I have raised a support ticket but hoping I may get a quicker answer here)

I am trying to use Marketing Events for our offline or external events (Tradeshows, webinars etc). However importing the Registered and Attendees seems patchy at best. One import will work and then the next won’t attach the contacts to the right statuses.

1. How do I manually correct the event statuses of contacts , eg. move those from Registered to Attended.

2. What best practise tips and tricks do you have for the import to work first time. (I am using the format/properties described in the knowledge articles but as described its patchy at best)

Thanks for reaching out to Support as well! I am glad to dive into this with you. From what I understand, you are importing attendees from Marketing Events that occurred in the past and would like them to import as “Attended”, right?

Can you verify if you set up your import files like the example in this Knowledge Base article? You can attach a screenshot so I can take a look as well. Likely we can confirm the import set up and process and then correct any errors with another import.
