There are so many clicks if we want to go to the associated Lead from the contact list itself.
The “Contact → Leads” or “Contact(Primary) → Lead” column values only show a text with Lead name(s). Is there a way to make these clickable? Or a workaround where we can access Leads from Contact list view?
Hi @MRatnadiwakar,
At the moment, no, there doesn’t seem to be an out of the box way to create a clickable link directly on the contact index page. You could request this in the HubSpot Ideas section of the community: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/idb-p/HubSpot_Ideas
Here’s what I’d suggest for a workaround, requiring a Professional subscription:
Create a custom lead calculation property: Create calculation and rollup properties
(Replace blurred part with your own portal ID and remove -eu1 if you’re not on the HubSpot EU hosting. In any case, simply navigate to any lead in the prospecting workspace and copy the link after removing anything after leadID=)
Then, create a contact sync property: Create sync properties that copy data to associated records
You now have a field that you can add as a column on the contact index page.
Without a Professional subscription, this can currently not be done as far as I know.
Best regards!
Hi Karsten,
Above is helpful and i tried it. It works as you showed but the link is not clickable. Any idea why?
@MRatnadiwakar you’re right, that was a habit of mine that I didn’t notice when working with plain text links: By double clicking the plain text URL you’ll be able to select it, then right click and open in new tab. It’s not a directly clickable link but still a fast way to access the lead.
