You should be able to log a call within a task that you schedule and then complete

Agree with this suggestion.
If you are working on a task, which is of type ‘Call’, then there is no clear way to go from this open task to logging a call and the follow-up action.
Is there already functionality to do this? Are we missing a simple step here?
