When in the activities view for a Company (or any other record history), you can go to the list of associated records (to notes, emails, etc.), but there is no direct way to go from that list to the associated record itself. If you would click on the record name, that would disassociate the record, it isn’t a link to it.
I would like that (which in my view should be a simple thing to do) to be a link to the object instead, and if you would like to disassociate it, you would click on the checkbox.
