Last Activity date won't update

I sent out emails to lists but Last Activity Date is not updated. Can I get this to update automatically when I send email from Hubspot?

Short A: No. Last Activity Date doesn’t work that way. Please see this thread, Updating ‘Last Contacted’ … and this KB article.
