We are importing an excel file into our hubspot account which contains data for contacts. There are also customized properties inside.
We are not sure if Hubspot can recognises data type of columns within the file. We have seen the data field type while importing the excel file but not type of the data.
Can Hubspot recognises data type of imported properties according to the property values?
Are you asking if you can create a custom contact property during the import? If so, you must create the property before importing values to the property so that it can be properly mapped. When you are creating the property you can choose the property type, which will enable the imported values to match to the property.
