Hello, I see a recent change to the Jira plugin now allows syncing of notes from Hubspot to Jira, which is very appreciated. However, the only way to enable this is to go into the Hubspot ticket and manually check this option. Jira tickets created through the automation do not have this enabled, and there is no way to set this option through the automation, or by any other setting.
We need the option to enable this on or off by default, either through settings of the plugin itself, or as a setting when creating the automation.
It is ridiculous that the Jira issue created by the HubSpot integration wouldn’t automatically sync with the HubSpot Ticket that created it.
Please set the “Jira Notes Sync by Default” property to TRUE for all Jira Issues created through this integration.
+1, this is pretty much an unfinished integration without this!
Intercom’s Jira integration has a toggle to auto-sync the notes in their integrations config so this is def possible on the Atlassian side; HS’s the weak link.
I tested so many ways to integrate Jira with HubSpot and so far there is no 100% solution. This app is doing very well when you want to sync HubSpot objects (tickets, contacts, organizations, deals…) with Jira issues types. You can sync almost all available fields and sync status as well. Single- and bidirectional. It needs proper setup in Jira, because you have to configure the fields you want to sync from HubSpot also in Jira. I would suggest using a dedicated issue type for the synced objects.
Tested it for my company and implemented it for a 120 people scale up to keep devs and sales aligned. Did its job and is still doing it. The vendors charges migration of history data, but the amount is still a good deal by comparing it to manual migration.
