It’s been more than 7 days since I completed and submitted my HubSpot CMS Developer Certification. I have successfully completed both the Quiz and the Practicum and submitted the required URL for the practicum.
However, my certification status/grade has not been updated yet.
Additionally, I’m seeing a notification in my HubSpot account stating that “HubSpot CMS for Developers II: Best Practices is being retired on July 31, 2026.” I’m not sure if this notification is related to my certification status.
Could you please check the status of my practicum review and let me know if any further action is required from my side?
Hi @Fenil, Practicum reviews are usually manual, so a delay past 7 days isn’t unusual, but with the course itself retiring July 31, that timing is tight and worth flagging urgently rather than waiting. I’d contact HubSpot Academy Support directly (not just community) and specifically ask them to confirm your practicum will still be graded and issued before the retirement date, since a course being sunset can sometimes affect whether pending submissions get finalized.
My HubSpot account is on the free plan, so I can’t contact HubSpot Support directly—I’m only able to use the Community. Is there any way you could help me with this?
It sounds like a review backlog. The retirement notice is likely unrelated if you already submitted everything. Contact HubSpot Support with your submission details to check your practicum status.
That makes sense, free accounts are Community supported only for general product support. For certification/Academy issues specifically though, this exact “HubSpot Academy Support” board you’re posting in is monitored by HubSpot staff (you’ll see them reply directly, like BérangèreL on similar threads), so you’re actually already in the right place. I’d recommend tagging it clearly or waiting for a HubSpot team member to jump in here, since Academy support does respond directly on these threads even for free accounts, it’s just not phone or ticket based like paid plans.
