Fixing Accessibility Issue: Unnecessary List Mark-Up for Form Fields

Hello HubSpot Community,

I am currently working to improve the accessibility of our company’s website, which is built using a HubSpot template.

One issue that I am running into is getting forms to comply with WCAG standards. The modules are coded in such a way that form fields are inappropriately marked as list items.

This is a WCAG 2.1 AA violation of code 1.3.1 - A - List, linked here. The reason why this is considered inaccessible is because screen reader users could encounter unecessary lists, casing confusion and preventing the user from using the form’s structure properly.

There is a simple fix to this if you know a little HTML code. However, my question is really one of convenience. I *could* just code out a design manager module that could serve the same purpose as one of HubSpot’s form templates, but what I’m really looking for is a simple fix using the HubSpot webdesign/CTA-builer interface when such issues seem baked into it. Perhaps I’m setting up the forms incorrectly? Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts.
