For the LOVE, I have seen community posts dating back to 2020 on this exact topic and it’s making me want to lobby for the whole company to leave hubspot.
I spend 20-30 minutes craftign a well thought out email within hubspot to complete a task.. adn then I press enter to go to the next line and the WHOLE email dissapears. Gone besides my signature with no way to recover it. I am so tired of wasting time with this glitch and I do not understand how hubspot hasn’t fixed it.
Can anyone help me understand why this is happening?
Can you share a loom and have you tried sending that in as a support ticket? These are user to user forums so the best way to get in touch with hubspot for this type of bug is to submit a ticket. Personally I have not experienced this in the email editor, but if you can repeat the error then I would share it with them and see what they say.
This is the issue, the only way for me to catch it in the act is if I loomed my screen for the entire day for multiple days. There is no warning when its going to happen and it doesnt happen on every email. Some days it doesn’t happen at all, some days its 5+ times. I submitted a ticket before but they said the same thing- record my screen. I decided at the time it would be better to just not email out of hubspot and deal with the additional clicks. My task list is getting heavier and its more efficient if I could just use Hubspot the way it is supposed to be used, and what we pay for it to be used for! I put in another ticket today, but also I checked the community board and I am not alone in this issue, I was hoping maybe someone in here was able to crack to the code or knew how to define the problem better to Hubspot for them to fix.
Is it only happening with a particular browser/version/OS or has this happened even after browsers and operating systems are upgraded? Is there any other thing you can link that is the same as the other posts you mention in that regard or anything else?
I’m not sure if the other users use chrome (thats all I use) and on our work computers for security purposes we are always updating all systems, so I don’t believe its an update issue.. there’s got to be something in common though.
