Glitch when typing emails

Status: Idea Submitted

Is it just me or does the email tool randomly mess up for anyone else? It’s happened to me on several occassions where I have a long email typed up (or template that i’ve edited) and then boom, entire text is deleted (besides signature), or it just reverts back to the saved template format. No way to hit undo or anything to get back to 5-10 minutes of work I may have just put in customizing the message.

Hi @salesperson ,
Does this happen quite often? Been using HubSpot for almost three years now but never came across this kind of issue.
Hope this helps!

Not often, but has happened at least 5 or 6 times in the last 2 months. Yesterday it happened when I simply pressed the return button to create another line

Hi @salesperson , really surprised to know that it keeps happening with you, of course, it must be frustrating and I don’t even see any way to correct this but you can check this thing with HubSpot support if you are paid subscriber. Meanwhile, I can suggest you create snippets and use them in your sales emails.

Hope this helps!

Hello this just happened to me again. All I was trying to do was insert a new paragraph. Hit return twice and the entire email was delete, with no ability to ctrl + z to get all the info I had just typed up to come back. This is ridiculous. happens to me weekly

I have seen posts dating back to 2020 on this. never used to happen to me but this year it started and it happens all the time. it is the most fristrating thing and idk how Hubspot hasn’t fixed this problem.

This happened to me as well. Everything was nice and crystal. After I have sent the email, I saw that it added a templated part at the very bottom of it. And I’m pretty sure I have checked it a million times before sending it. Does this happen to anybody else?
