I want to have a Form on my website, that when filled-in emails a link to a Document that I keep in Hubspot.
That way I can tell when someone fills in the form and then when they download a case study.
I don’t seem to be able to embed a Document (or a link to it) in a Marketing email (automation)? Surely this is a really common requirement?!
I’m on the CRM Suite Starter, if that makes a difference?
Hi @SimonMo
Sure you can, see example below, use the link icon an you can insert a file.
You should be able to do it with Starter.
TY,
Thank you for the response!
If I do it that way then I don’t think I’m using the “Documents” section of Hubspot?
Which means I then don’t see the information like the attached?
To use documents maybe you can ad as an URL link instead of a file?
Not sure the experience will be great if they submit a form and then need
to give email again to see the document? It really depends on the use case
I would say.
Unfortunately there’s no way to add from the Documents using a URL…
It seems like a really strange “missed opportunity”.
One should be able to have documents linked from forms so that you can see who requests a form AND if/when they download it…
Thank you for your help though - I’ll just do it as you’ve suggested!
You can ad documents to email templates, so maybe using Sequences could be an option.
