Hello, I’m trying to import my theme from themeforest, I put the purchase code, the import start and after few second I get this error, can you help me please? thank you.
Ps the theme is “ewebot”
Hi @Swipe
When you close out of the error and check design tools, is there any indication that the install started and didn’t complete (an empty folder) or it is not there entirely?
Also, if you retry the install, does it work?
If not, I would first reach out to the theme provider on themeforest and/or themeforest support to verify your code to make sure it wasn’t redeemed as part of the error so you can try again.
Thank you for your time, when I close the error I can retry to install but
it doesn’t work. I’m sure about theme forest, the license it’s new.
@Swipe you’re welcome, happy to help!
@kvlschaefer any suggestions for help with getting a theme installed from Theme Forest using CMS Free when the install errors out?
Hi everyone,
Thank you for starting to troubleshoot, @Jnix284 ! ![]()
Hi @Swipe, I understand that you’re having issues with uploading a theme that you’ve downloaded from Envato, correct? I wanted to clarify if you managed to follow the steps here as per this guide?
Would you mind sharing a link to the theme you downloaded from the Envato CMS site as well?
Thank you!
Best,
Kristen
Ok, maybe I found the problem, my theme isn’t “hubspot theme”, so I think
that not all the theme can be uploaded ![]()
@Swipe I’m sorry to hear that, hopefully they can refund your money if it was a paid theme.
The HubSpot Marketplace has a lot of really great themes, with so many free themes available, I would recommend one of those over an external market theme because they have to meet stricter requirements for how they are coded.
I wrote this article in the community blog about choosing a free theme that might be helpful whether you decide to use a free theme or paid theme, it will help choose the right theme based on your needs.
