Error when creating a new property.

I am getting an error when creating a new property. I encounter it every time I click the field type drop down menu in the Create a New Property wizard:

I have tried multiple times over the last two days and am still seeing the error. I have tried in an incognito window and in multiple browsers as well.

Hi @DLlort,

Thank you for providing screenshots, checking internally we are unable to reproduce this behavior on the account associated with your email. Are you still getting this error? If so could you please clean your cache following these instructions here?

Thank you,

Kristen

The issue is still occurring after clearing all cache and cookies.

Hi @DLlort,

Can I have you try to create a property in a different browser, please? If you are able to reproduce it across different browsers, can you let me know which ones produce this error?

Thank you,

Kristen

It occurs on both Chrome and Firefox.

Hi @DLlort9,

Thanks for letting us know!

Would you be able to please collect a HAR file while attempting to create the property and send it to me via a private message?

Thank you!

Best,

Kristen

The issue is still occurring after clearing all cache and cookies. It also occurs in an incognito window.

Hi, Kristen. I have the HAR file, but I get an error that says the file type isn’t supported when trying to attach it to a private message.

Hi @DLlort9,

Thanks for flagging this!

I’ve sent you a private message to follow up on this.

Best,

Kristen

Hi @DLlort,

Thank you for the HAR file!

I’ve reached out to our team to get further clarification on this error.

I’ll update this thread once we’ve investigated this!

Best,

Kristen

I am getting an error each time I try to create a new property.

I have tried clearing cache and cookies and opening HubSpot in an incognito window (in both Chrome and Firefox) and the issue persists. I have even tried deleting and recreating my entire CRM account and it didn’t solve the problem. I start seeing the error as soon as I try to create the fourth custom property on my list.

Hi @DLlort9,

Can you take me through the exact steps you’re taking when attempting to create the dropdown property?

Does the error appear regardless of what values you are putting in?

At what point does the error appear during the property creation process?

If it would be easier, you can also share a Loom video or a screen recording of you trying to create the property.

Thank you!

Best,

Kristen

Definitely. I click Settings from the Contacts tab, then Properties, Create Property, select Contact Information from the Group dropdown, regardless of the label I enter, when I click the Field Type dropdown menu on the next screen, I’m taken immediately to that error.

Thank you so much, @DLlort9!

I’ve shared this with the team. I’ll reach back out when I have another update :slightly_smiling_face:

Best,

Kristen

Hi @DLlort / @DLlort9,

Thanks for your patience!

Can you collect the following files for me, please?

  • Try creating a property using Chrome with all browser extensions disabled, and then generate a new HAR file if possible.
  • Collect a Console Log to show any console errors that are being generated when you try to create a property.

Thanks!

Best,

Kristen

I am also having this exact issue.

Hi @gMaster,

Thanks for reaching out!

If you’re still experiencing the issue, may I get you to clear your cache and cookies, please? I’ve included a couple of step-by-step articles below from Google below for you.

Google | Clear cache and cookies

Google | Incognito mode

Thank you!

Best,

Kristen

It happens after clearing cache and cookies. I also tried both Chrome and Firefox.
