Email sending limits

Hello all,
We are new to HubSpot and currently using the starter package which comes with 1000 marketing emails.
However, as the known fact we can’t send more than 20-30 emails per day as limited by Google or MS servers. Tools like MailChimp or Brevo can bypass these limits. My question is does HS works the same way? Can I run a marketing campaign for 1000 emails at a time? We use one main domain on HS and I don’t want to hurt our domain. Can someone explain how does the email limits work in HS?
Thank you in advance!

Could you explain in a bit more detail what you’re referring to here? One-to-one emails or bulk emails? I assume you’re referring to emails sent one-to-one from individual inboxes?

If you authenticate your email domain, you can send emails in bulk, without any arbitrary limit such as 20-30 emails: Manage your email authentication

The larger the email send, the higher of course the necessity to potentially break the send into smaller lists and ‘warm up’ your sending. Sending a very large numbers out of the blue can be perceived as a negative signal by email service providers.

In other words, if you want to be on the safe side, break your send into 100, 200, 300, 500 over the course of a couple of days.

Don’t forget the email authentication (see above), this step is very important and you should be fully authenticated before sending anything.

Best regards

Thanks for your reply first of all.
I need to run bulk emailing like 500 marketing mail per day, however, if I use my main domain it’s restricted by Google Workspace. I cant send 500 email per day as per Google.
I am trying to understand if HubSpot bypasses this rule or if I need to purchase separate domains or subdomains. I gave a reference to Brevo because it sends bulk marketing emails from your main domain as their tool bypass this limit. I am no where to find how it works in HubSpot and don’t want to risk my main domain reputation.

Is this for personal emails or for emails sent through an authenticated email sending domain? There’s a big difference and I’m not sure which you’re referring to.

If there are limits imposed by the email service provider, then an email marketing solution cannot bypass them.

However, I’d be surprised if your Google subscription limited you to send a maximum of 500 marketing emails per day.

Again, please review this article: Manage your email authentication

It explains how to setup your SPF, DMARC, DKIM records and authorize HubSpot to send bulk emails via connected email sending domain, not personal inboxes. The limit you’re talking about sounds to me like a personal inbox limit, not a limit for emails sent through SPF, DMARC, DKIM authentication.

Hey @karstenkoehler , I would like to know about bulk email sending options.
I have marketing hub professional. I have say for example, 10000 marketing contacts, I want to send them multiple emails using drip email campaign.
My question is, how hubspot handles bulk email send, and what’s the daily limit for emails?
TIA
