I am new to Hubspot and moved from another email marketing tool to HubSpot. Currently we are using the started package to evaluate its capabilities. We are planning on running a campaign with 1000 leads in a day. Is there a limit on Hubspot? Will it damage the reputation of my domain?

How many emails you can send depends on your marketing contacts limit: Understand marketing contacts
If you’re within that limit then you’re good with your email to 1,000 contacts in one day.
Before you do that, make sure to authenticate your email domain: Manage your email authentication
Once done, you shouldn’t experience any issues with your domain reputation – permitting that your bounce rate is low and recipients do not mark your email as spam, of course.

It could be an issue if the domain you’ll be sending from is new - that’s not a hubspot issue but one on the ESP side (gmail filtering etc). If it’s a new domain I wouldn’t advise sending 1000 per day right away, you should ramp into that to lessen the chance of being flagged for spam.
RE the Hubspot limits - if you’re on Starter you get 5x your contact tier (which is 1,000 marketing contacts to start with) so you can send 5,000 in a month total .
