Does anybody know if there’s a way to edit the default reports Hubspot provides when you lookthrough Dashboard Templates?
The one I am looking at is one of the default Marketing Dashboard Reports called ‘Website visit, new contact, and customer totals by day’, and it’s 3 mini reports built into one, all showing an area chart.
I wanted to change the metrics it’s taking to be Web Sessions > New Companies > New Companies which are MQLs.
I know how to use filters to build this, but there doesn’t seem to be an option to change the data source, or really edit the report. There also doesn’t seem to be any option to build a similiar report in the Custom Report Builder.
It sounds like you’re trying to create custom reports. If so, this is a Professional and Enterprise feature. You can find the instructions here: Create custom reports
If you have the necessary subscription, you can clone existing reports from the dashboards you’re mentioning, and also adjust them.
Some reports, specifically some default reports or those created with the single object report builder, don’t allow for changing the data source. Here you would have to start from scratch.
If you have a free or Starter subscription, you’re “stuck” with the default reports. If you’re not aware of the report library, I’d recommend further exploring that: Use a report from the report library
Thanks for your response. We do have access to Custom Report building in our plan, but the issue was not having the ability to create a similiar report as to the default one, shown below:
This default report appears to be made up of three smaller area line charts, with conversion metrics in between. This is the report I’d like to customize, but it doesn’t appear to be an option.
