I’m trying to customise one of HubSpot’s default dashboard reports, specifically the “Website visit, new contact, and customer totals by day” report. It’s a great visual format with three mini area charts, but currently, it doesn’t allow metric substitution or deeper editing.
What I’d like to do:

Change the metrics to display:
- Web Sessions
- New Companies
- New Companies filtered to just MQLs
While I can build these as separate reports using filters, there’s no way to:
- Edit the metrics used in the default report directly
- Replicate this same combined layout in the Custom Report Builder
Suggestion:
Please consider making default dashboard reports editable, particularly the ability to change metrics, or provide the option to build similar multi-metric area chart layouts in the Custom Report Builder.
This would make it far easier to tailor high-level dashboards without having to recreate them from scratch (or lose the visual efficiency of the default layouts).
