I have a quick question regarding the dashboard. When I check the module (see below), it shows $328K in closed deals. However, based on my records, which include only contracts signed and paid deals, the total is actually $277.8K. It seems the dashboard isn’t reflecting the correct number of closed deals.
Can anyone help me figure out how to adjust the settings so it only pulls data from the signed and paid deals to show the accurate total? I’m using the Gauge chart, and it used to display the correct numbers.
Hey @msshey_! This total discrepancy can be caused by a handful of reasons. Can you compare the filters applied to the Closed Deal amount report versus the gauge chart? Additionally, if you are using a custom report, it could be due to the data sources in the report.
Maybe if you attach some more comprehensive screenshots of each report, our Community members could get a better idea as to what may be causing this.
Hi @kennedyp , sure! Here are the screenshots - the primary data source is the contact, and the value of the chart is the “Sum (Closed deal amount)”. I would like to only get the total amount from the contracts signed and paid deals by selecting the pipeline name and deal stage but I can’t seem to figure out how.
Thanks for the screenshots, @msshey_! I see that your primary data source is Contacts (see screenshot). If a Deal does not have an associated contact, it may not be included in this report. Could you try changing the Primary source to Deals instead?
