When using the dashboard, I can see that the data from my ‘deals’ sales pipeline is incompletely visualized in the template graphs. For example, I know that more than 20 deals have been signed in the last period (as indicated by the filter), but it’s only showing 2. In the ‘closer won’ category, there are more than 20 deals. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks!
Hi @BCuyvers,
This could be a variety of things, but it usually comes down to the filters applied to the report. Are close dates accurate? Are the filters applied to the deals view the same as on the reports? Maybe the report is using an alternate date such as create date vs close date.
Those are things I’d check first. Also note that the reports are heavily cached so you may need to refresh if something was recently updated with the data.

Hi @BCuyvers
Without seeing the actual filters and the reference data you are looking at, it is a bit hard to tell what could cause the difference in the report/dashboard. Most common issues are:
- wrong pipeline(s)
- deal owner filters
- mis-matched date filters
Would be great if you can share some details on the actual report filters.
Thanks
Frank
Hi, Thanks for the reaction! I’ve filtered on ‘last 365 days’ and I used a custom made property called ‘products’ to filter based on 4 products. I checked all the deals and their properties, and they have all been correctly labeled for both product and ‘close date’. Does this give you more context? I also notice that even without the custom made proporty filter (products), the dashboard is not showing all deals in the overview.
Hey @BCuyvers
so generally the problem is the date that the report is taking
so could be closed date or create date.
You can see this in the filters used.
This will change the month attribution in your reports.
If you want to share a screen shot of your report
we can guide you better.
So This screenshot doesn’t help a lot
but I can see a warning that you do have filter at the Dashboard level.
So maybe you will have to remove them to be able to see the reports individually.
If removing this filters doesn’t help
there might be a problem on the report, how it was build.
You should be able to see something like this in the standard report
Hope this helps
Hi, thanks for the support - to me the report settings look like this:
Even when I remove dashboard-level filters, it remains unlogical and I indeed think I need to explicitly check that they use ‘close date’ and not another one. I don’t have this option. Is this a bug? Even when I remove the report and try to create a new one, it doesn’t show up…
Hi @BCuyvers
Thanks, that does indeed help!
You are building a funnel report with the setting to show deals that have gone through all stages. If not all of your deals have gone through all stages you displaying in your report, they won’t show.
Frank
Thanks! How can I remove this setting that only shows deals that went through all stages? For example, if a deal skips 1 stage, it can be considered as ‘been there but moved forward immediately’. Is this possible automatically, or is there something manual that I can do?
Should I report this as a bug? If yes, how can I do this? I think it would be a nice fix to also have deals in the report (coming from a template) that potentially skipped a stage.
