We have hundreds of well maintained knowledge base articles. My co-workers refuse to use guide creatore (despite it being an awesome tool) since there is no way of bringing guides into the Knowledge base.
There should be a setting that automatically moves guides into our knowledge base. Or at least support it as Insert/url in the KB article editor.
This would make knowledge based support so much more functional.
Exactly! We create guides for Knowledge Base articles, and it’s frustrating that HubSpot’s own guide creator lacks a simple way to move them. Other tools, like Scribe, make it easy to embed guides into HubSpot’s Knowledge Base, so this limitation doesn’t make much sense.
@JJumatay & @basil - Just saw this message… what are you planning to do?
Guide Creator will soon be discontinued
Guide Creator will no longer be available after November 20, 2025. You can keep using it until then. You can download your guides as PDFs by clicking the three dots when hovering over a guide.
@JJumatay 100% with you there! We also use Scribe and the issues we’re having is that even with being able to embed guides, those guides can’t be read by the support chatbot. From working with a HubSpot support person, only text material can be read by the chatbot. In an ideal world, an integration exists where you can submit articles created within Scribed straight into knowledge base as text, so the chatbot can use it.
Out of curiosity, I wonder what HubSpot uses to curate their instruction articles?
