Contact Form not displaying

Hi, this is my first post here as a complete newbee and trying to get my head around what I’ve done wrong.

I created a contact form and published it on contact page (Wordpress installation - Contact - Dad Goes Walkabout)

The form worked fine; submitted a test response under a separate email account - worked fine. After that, when I looked at the form, it already had my details pre-filled. So I looked at the page in a fresh incognito window and the form doesn’t display at all.

I deleted all cookies, browsing data etc and then redisplayed my page in my wordpress logged in browser and the page displays properly now. However, on any page except the one logged in to wordpress, the contact form doesn’t display. Spoke to the ‘Chat’ support but they connected me to a sales guy who lost interest when he realised I was unlikely to subscribe to pro version as I was just starting out with a hobby site.

Any help or suggestions where to look for help would be appreciated. But please remember I’m fairly new to all this tech stuff! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @AndyKnight,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community, we’ll be glad to help here!

I just checked your website (I love the initiative btw! :slightly_smiling_face:) and it seems the form is working fine:

I’m using Google Chrome, may I ask which browser you’re using?

Feel free to post in the Community again if new questions come up! There are different forums in the Community: the Marketing Hub, CRM & Sales Hub, … I would recommend choosing a specific forum when you create a new post to make sure your questions gets seen by the right experts! Thanks!

Hi, thank you for your response and your kind comments. :slightly_smiling_face:

I eventually used what I presume is a classic resolution: deactivate all my plugins - it works fine - reactivate one at a time until it stops working. I eventually found that it was part of the siteground optimiser plugin using minify and combining javascripts that seems to have caused the problem.

All is working fine now - as you can see.

Many thanks again

Andy

I’m glad it works now @AndyKnight! Thank you for returning to the post and sharing the solution :slightly_smiling_face:
