I want to connect hubspot active list to heyrach via zapier. i dont see an option of adding active list (hubspot ) to zapier, it only shows static list ,any way?
i @Naveen28, I hope that you are well!
Great question, thanks for asking the HubSpot Community!
Here is a documentation I found for you from Zapier “Move your data instantly with webhooks” that might help you!
Also, I’d love to put you in touch with our Top Experts and Community Members: Hi @Kevin-C, @Josh and @Crystal_Hopper can you think of a workaround to help @Naveen28, please?
Have a lovely day and thanks so much in advance!

Hi @Naveen28
I see where the confusion comes from. Zapier’s HubSpot app can only trigger on static lists, not active lists, because active lists are dynamic queries that update in real time inside HubSpot. Since Zapier works with defined objects it can’t “listen” to active list membership directly
That’s why you only see the static option.
The usual workaround is to build an automation that pushes contacts into a static list when they meet your active list criteria.
For example, create a workflow in HubSpot with the same enrollment rules as your active list, and add an action to “Add to static list.” That static list can then be the trigger for Zapier. Another option is to skip lists entirely and trigger Zapier from contact property changes Zapier supports many HubSpot contact events directly (https://zapier.com/apps/hubspot/integrations?utm_source=chatgpt.com )
It depends a bit on what you want Heyrach to do when someone qualifies, but the pattern is the same: mirror your active list conditions into either a workflow or a property, then let Zapier act on that static surface. If consistency between HubSpot and your other apps is the bigger concern, Stacksync keeps both sides aligned in near real time so you don’t have to rebuild these bridges with workarounds.
Hope that clarifies.
You’re correct that HubSpot’s native Zapier integration only supports static lists, not active lists. This limitation exists because active lists are dynamic and continuously update based on set criteria, whereas static lists remain fixed once created. As a workaround, you can either create a static list that mirrors your active list and use that in Zapier, or explore third-party connectors/integration tools (like Integromat/Make or Tray.io) that may offer more flexibility.
Hi @Naveen28,
As a workaround, you can create a workflow to copy contacts from an active list into a static list. This way you can still work with Zapier’s limitation.
Hi @Naveen28, I hope that you had a lovely weekend!
Thanks for reaching out to the HubSpot Community!
To add to what @RubenBurdin, @EMarquardt and @GiantFocal have said (thank you so much for your contributions
), you could convert your active segment/list into a static segment/list.
Here is the article about it: “Create segments” and the solution from @karstenkoehler on this post “How to change a selfmade Static List into dynamic”.
Another option would be for you to set up your Zap to trigger based on specific contact property values or activity that mirrors your active list criteria.
Currently, Zapier’s HubSpot integration natively supports static lists but does not directly support triggering off active lists.
