Code Formatting for Conversations

Hello! I sometimes provide support in an IT context, and I noticed that code and code block formatting is missing from HubSpot conversations. This is an important aspect for IT or development support, as it helps make clear what exact code suggestions we’re making apart from the rest of the support message. Typically, this kind of formatting can be accomplished via shortcut in Slack, Jira, Intercom and other tools by using something like: `You_Code_Here`. Code formatting is already supported for Knowledge Base articles, so I’m hoping this can be added to conversation messages as well. Thank you!

Currently the Notes - and any other conversations- functionality on HubSpot does not have the support for code block formatting at the moment.

We are an IT company, we need this feature!

Can confirm the use case - my client is a SaaS company that very regularly provides support on issues that involve code. Being able to put in a code block/span makes this support much easier to provide.

I basically just want this

Definitely need this! We provide code with most of our support responses. Since some is YAML, indentation is critical.

+1 on needing this feature.

Technical support organizations need to be able to type things like `command --parameters`, both in-line and as multiple-line blocks. Some places in Hubspot have it, some don’t. All conversation editors should have it, without having to do more then add markdown ticks. Intercom already does this.
