We have created a registration form for an upcoming event. Deadline for final registrations is on a certain date but there is no way to ‘close’ the form after the due date. The only way is to remove the form but by doing that you also remove the full submission database.
This would be very helpful--right now we are editing the form to say “Registration is closed” and removing the form fields, but this is a hassle (and you have to clone the event before you make changes, etc.).
I agree, this would be very helpful. Thank you for sharing your workaround acorestpete!
Definitely need a way to close a form without having to delete it please!
Definitely need a way to close a form so no one can use after a certain date - without deleting anything please.
I need this too. This is quite frustrating
yes, let’s hope they develop a working solution soon! I have regular need of this idea
PLEASE ADD THIS!
Please add this. An additional idea along this same train of thought would be different options for a form to close -- option to close on a deadline or close when reaching a certain number.
Following. Need this still.
definitely need to be able to shut a form or close it so that no one can continue to register and submit. We use these forms for event registration quite a lot and it is problematic if we keep open. Is best option to create a list of the submissions then delete the form?
Very much needed feature. Currently we only have option to delete the form
Yes, please! We need a way to end after the deadline and also have some form of cutoff once you get a certain number of submissions. Without it, the forms become too time-intensive and require too much monitoring to use for events and payments.
Wow yes! Would love to be able to close on a deadline or close when reaching a certain number. Or just close manually, would work fine too!
It would be great if there was the option to turn off accepting form submissions on a form, like there is on Microsoft Forms.
This could be done by selecting a date that the form stops accepting submissions, or by clicking a button that ‘closes’ the form (and displays a message saying ‘This form is now closed’ or ‘This form is no logner accepting submissions’.)
My organisation uses Forms on Hubspot to as our registration forms for events we run. People have to fill out the form with their details in order to be approved to attend our events.
We shut our registrations a day or two before the event, but if people have the link to the form, they can still fill it out. Which means we have to deal with last-minute regos, which can be annoying.
So far, the only way to stop people being able to fill out a form is to remove everything from the form so there’s only the Submit button (so you end up with a completely blank form).
But I like to clone previous registration forms and just edit the details of them when making the **bleep** form for our next event, so if I delete all the items from the original form, I have to start over.
I just think this would be an incredibly helpful option for Forms on Hubspot, and would be useful for other uses of forms as well, not just event registrations.
Would love to see this feature be implemented
I’m very surprised this isn’t already implemeted, seems like a basic feature to have.
Please add this feature! I agree having both options for a certain number of submissions or deadline to close would be great.
Please add this feature - it’s such a basic feature and one reason we still keep using google forms instead!
Literally ran into this situation with 2 clients recently, would be good to have a toggle for the form submissions and then a field to display a message when its off.
