I’m new to Hubspot and I’m trying capture meeting notes that I record during the discussion. I don’t need to report on them but do want easily see if the notes are from a meeting.
Seems like there are three options:
Add a comment to a meeting. I’ve run into character limits on this
Log a meeting with included notes. But this creates a duplicate meeting activity
Add a note. This is not linked to the meeting
Are there any best practices to capturing meeting notes in Hubspot?
@KSimmons Great question - there are a couple of options here:
1. You can create a note and title it with the name, date, and time of the meeting in reference. Creating the note during the meeting will ensure it falls in the right place chronologically so you’ll see the meeting time, and the note that was created at that same meeting time in order on the contact’s profile.
2. If your meeting is related to you asking qualifying questions, or attempting to sell to the person then you could use a playbook. With the playbooks tool, you can provide guidance with interactive content cards displayed in contact, company, deal, and ticket records for your team members to reference and create standardized notes when speaking to prospects and customers. Here is a link on what playbooks do.
Hi Babor, my team and I have been doing the same thing ( Edit and add to Team Notes) do you have any ideas on how to export those?
Thank you in advance.
