In the Help desk you will find all information about the contact and the company to the right of the ticket. So is the phone number.
But now if we want to call a customer through Hubspot, we have to go to the contact first and only then indicate on the top left that we want to call the customer.
It would make much more sense that in the contact data there is a call button next to the phone number.
This would allow us to call the customer while still seeing the ticket and not having to perform unnecessary clicks.
So we can link calling the customer to solving a ticket and everything can be logged nicely.
It would be nice if the log of the phone could also be linked to the ticket so that everyone can see exactly what has been done for that customer.
This can be accomplished today using the communicator in Inbox/Help Desk. Click the dropdown in the bottom left hand corder to switch from “Email” to “Call”.
Thank you all for taking the time to submit, upvote, and comment on this Idea. I’m happy to report that this Idea is now In Development! This means that our engineers are actively building this feature and investing in making the outbound call experience more efficient in Help Desk.
The product development process is always filled with unexpected bumps and hurdles, so I can’t give a timeline, but I am confident in saying we’ll deliver this feature as soon as possible.
All updates will be relayed on this thread, so stay tuned!
