Hi all,
We recently started testing out HubSpot’s AI features. First thing we decided to test was Form Shortening.
Essentially, the form shows the email field when its first loaded. After the user inputs their email, HS then fills out the remaining fields if it has information for and only displays the fields that need to be populated manually.
For example, I have the following fields on my form:
- First & Last name
- Email
- Company name
- Number of employees
- Country/region.
I tried testing with my work email and it’s not filling out most of the fields. Even when I tried with a HubSpot employee email, it doesn’t fill out any fields. I haven’t had a single instance when first name and last name were properly filled automatically.
I have Form Shortening enabled in HS settings, on form fields. I also have enough Breeze credits on the account.
Has anyone had any success with this feature?
Hey @FFayzullaev, thank you for posting in our Community!
Form Shortening should ideally auto-fill fields if HubSpot has relevant data for the email provided. If it’s not working as expected, it could be due to limited or outdated data in HubSpot’s database for those particular emails. Make sure your form settings are fully updated, and double-check if the fields align with standard HubSpot properties.
To our top experts @TomM2 and @danmoyle do you have any recommendations for @FFayzullaev matter?
Thank you,
Pam
We’ve trouble shot everything and removed required fields and it still isn’t autofilling.
Same issue here. I have everything set up as required and only very rarely do I get submissions with some fields populated by Breeze Intelligence.
Hey there @FFayzullaev. It sounds like it might be a case of being a very early adopter. I haven’t tried the features yet because of this. As much as I love being an early user, I’ve found over the years that it can be frustrating as HubSpot releases updates and new tools as MVPs and it’s not fully usable yet. No shade to the product managers as speed is the name of the game.
If it were me, I’d check in with product folks or your HubSpot rep to see if anyone can walk through it as you share your screen to ensure there’s nothing incomplete on your end, Plus it help them see the tool in everyday use to see the current shortcomings.
Did you ever find a solution to this? The Breeze dataset is essentially the Clearbit dataset since HubSpot acquired Clearbit. I just implemented form shortening today and I’m running into the same issue. It never autofills data no matter what email domain I type into the email box (have tried Microsoft, HubSpot — even emails already in our database). It’s not auto-enriching at all live on the form.
