Best Practice Tip for Shortening Forms/Handling Location Data

Hi there!
I wanted to share a best practice tip shortening the forms on your site, improving data accuracy, and handling location data in HubSpot.
If you’re a company handling US customers -- you can use the ZipCode AutoFill plugin.
What this will do is allow you to just ask for the contact/company’s 5 digit US postal code on your form, and get rid of state/city/county/country fields on your form. This will eliminate the possibility of typos and incorrect location data coming into your CRM. It also allows you to remove up to 4 fields from your forms, making them significantly shorter.
You can also backfill existing contacts/company records where you have the correct 5 digit postal code; and it will go in and update their city/state/county/country with the data that comes from Google Maps.

Hey @JBigbee1,

Thank you for sharing this best practice tip! It’s a great way to streamline forms and improve data accuracy in HubSpot.
