Live chat is a really powerful channel. It feels like a real lost opportunity that we can not make annoucements through the chat channel proactively. I.e. letting users know about new functionality or services or changes.
Other ideas have been posted that are the same. However, if Hubspot’d benchmark that they’d see it’s overdue to add such a function both for marketing purposes as well as customer support

100% needed when we launch new product updates or require to inform clients about something new it would be super handy to be able to post it as “news” somewhere in the chat like with intercom. I transition everything from intercom to Hubspot and really miss this option in the chat. Is a simple alert “hey there is something new check it out” and it could be triggered in multiple chats with or on all chat. For example if you have two chat bots created you decide where you want to post the messages it could have a red notification when there is something or have a little bit of the text popping in that given chat.
