Depending on the type of activity there is no possibility to directly navigate to the respective object.
E.g. the activity “An employee opened Email XYZ”.
There should be a link to Email XYZ. The text alone is not enough, because I need to find that email manually. It would be much more efficient and convenient if there would be a hyperlink.
Even worse when I used the same subject for different emails on different contacts, I’m completely nailed. e.g. (“Here is your Trial Version”). There is no chance to find that email or contact efficiently.
I’m really shocked by the absence of this functionality, it seems so basic to the workings of HS. Why bother telling us someone opened an email if we can’t link to the email? Just as the writer above mentions, the subject line is often one we use over and over again, so even if I run a search of the subject line, I’ll get too many emails to know which one (and which proposal) was opened.
The web is an incredibly effective medium for knowledge distribution because it supports hyperlinking between resources. In Hubspot, there is no way to link to a specific comment on a deal, or meeting notes, etc. This makes it impractical to build up a knowledge resource which links into Hubspot because there is no way for the end user to know which comment or object the link refers to.
Please can we get a solution to this Hubspot?
P.S. If you need justification of why this is needed, I recommend you consider why the web has been successful
I’m asking for this for 1 year now. It is really frustrating when you do not know which email I sent. The contact reopens an old email from last year. Meaning he’s interested. I can’t contact him because the email was sent to multiple recipients. I do not know which email I sent or the contact name.
I’m potentially losing business because of this missing feature.
