Finding it frustrating that it takes many clicks, filters, sorts, etc to get after important records within Company/Contact View.
Example, I have a follow-up in Activity Feed with a particular Contact. Suggest a direct link to that Contact within a Task, Email, Call activity? Currently I have to navigate to Contacts, search/scroll, click. See attached image. We can see associated records to this Activity, but currently no direct access to to those records such as the associated Contact in this example.
Agreed. I would very much appreciate a way to navigate from an activity to any associated record directly.
I realize that most of the time, the respective records are also associated to the record I’m currently viewing, so I can open them from the right column. However, I do have situations where, for example, I’m viewing an email on a deal and that email is associated to a contact, which is not directly associated to the deal themself. I would like to directly navigate from the email to the contact, but that doesn’t seem to be possible.
It’s 2026 now and I’m still having an issue here. It takes a ridiculous amount of extra time to navigate to the other record page, even with the global search (that might sometimes sort of work).
I hope this is something they address at some point. I’m tired of my workflows being held up by weird UX gaps like this.
Hi everyone,
I’m Winnie Hien, the PM on the Activity Timeline. We’re looking to speed up context gathering + taking actions on the Record page, and this seems like a good fit problem to look into.
Can you help me understand it better?

How often does this come up? Every activity you open, or more of a “when I need to find a contact, then I need it” situation?
-
Can you walk me through a specific example? For example: you’re on a company record, you see a task tied to a contact. What are you trying to do next?
Happy to keep it in the thread or take it to a quick call. Feel free to DM me.
Thanks,
Winnie
