Checklist

SOLVE

Hi, I am new to hubspot and looking for a way to incorporate a recurring checklist per deal in the pipeline.  This means each deal has a checklist of things that need to get done..before moving on to the next stage within that pipeline.

Is this possible and if so, I am looking for step by step process on how to obtain this.  

I have read a lot about different lists, but none of them fit my needs, which I think would be something others would be interested in as well.

This is what I suggested in my previous reply, here's the link again:

 


  1. You customize the properties that are shown when moving deals from stage to stage: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-deals/set-up-and-customize-your-deal-pipelines-and-deal-stages#dea...
  2. If you have a Professional subscription and access to workflows, you can use workflows to automatically create tasks: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/tasks/create-tasks#create-tasks-using-workflows-professional-and-enter...
  3. You integrate HubSpot and ClickUp: https://clickup.com/integrations/hubspot

Without a Professional subscription this is not possible. There aren't any workarounds either. You have to upgrade or you don't get the feature, unfortunately.

Yes, it's possible if you have access to the workflow you can create a recurring checklist per deal stage in HubSpot to ensure that specific tasks are completed before a deal progresses to the next stage within your pipeline.

 

To achieve this, you can use deal automation and task features. 

 

Here's a step-by-step process to set it up:

 

In your HubSpot account you can set up a workflow where you can set the criteria for your deal stages and an action until the event happens like this:

This sounds exactually what I am looking for, however we don’t have access to workflows unfortunately. Is there a work around on this?

I'm glad the workflow-based solution aligns with your needs. 

 

If you don't have access to workflows in your current plan, I might not be able to suggest any way around on this apart from upgrading your plan that can enhance your operational efficiency and capabilities within HubSpot.

Hey @JTardif1 there's no out of the box way to set this for tasks, but you can set properties which are required for deals to move between stages. There's more info on this here. You could set some custom deal properties to check when something has been done, and set these as required for these specific stages too.
