Hello,
I have just set up a workflow for our customers who sign up to our webinars, they will automatically recieve and email with the webinar link within the confirmation link. However, before this was set up, we had individuals who will have already signed up before the workflow was in motion…
I have selected the re enrollment option, but I am not sure if I will need to manually send an email to those or how can I get them into the workflow so it is automated?
Thanks!
Hi @ADoherty5,
Hard to say without seeing the workflow – could you share a screenshot of the following things?
- enrollment criteria
- re-enrollment settings
- workflow steps (entire workflow)
Best regards
Hopefully these are useful. I have just tested the workflow using my own email and have not recieved any emails, however there is nothing flagged. I picked the correct date (3rd March).
I can see that there are contacts re-enrolled and the first part has triggered.
Hi @ADoherty5,
Could you explain again what you’re trying to accomplish?
This workflow enrolls contacts who submit a form and have a specific date selected. They then receive the emails according to the delays in between. Re-enrollment is not really relevant here as a contact cannot re-enroll while they are still in the workflow. Since contacts are in this workflow for a long time (up until two hours before the event), I don’t see any relevant use cases for re-enrollment.
The re-enrollment was set up because we have contacts who have already signed up to the webinars prior to the workflow being set up, prior to that they did not recieve a webinar link just a ‘thank you’. I have enrolled them so they receive all the elements of the workflow including ‘webinar link, 1 day reminder and 2 hr reminder’.
The workflow is also for the new submissions going forward so everything is automated.
Hopefully that makes sense.
thanks
@ADoherty5 sure, it does – are there any open questions then? Could you specify what’s missing?
Well, I have just signed up to the webinar. And I have recieved zero emails and no issues are flagging up… So i’m unsure where it is going wrong.
@ADoherty5 have you checked the workflow actions log for your contact? Understand your workflow details page
Based on what you shared, you might simply already be enrolled in the workflow. If you are, please see my previous reply, you cannot re-enroll while you’re still in it.
Thank you, I have just checked this and I am not showing in the log at all..
I can see all the other sign ups in there, just not myself?
@ADoherty5 when you click into the enrollment criteria box at the beginning of the workflow, the left sidebar opens and you should see a button to test a contact against the enrollment criteria. What’s the result of that test, what do you see?
Hmm interesting, it says this, but I have signed up the way all the others would..
@ADoherty5 HubSpot typically doesn’t lie about these things
When you look up the value for ‘Tips & Tricks All Session Dates Booked’ on the contact record, what do you see?
If you’re sure you selected this when submitting the form, the wrong property might be on the form or the options might not be up to date.
Yeah something is not correct… I just don’t know where..
I think I have found the issue… the workflow said ‘tips and tricks all session dates booked’ but the property is ‘tips and tricks recent session booked’ ,When i test it, it goes green now.
@ADoherty5 as I suggested then, “the wrong property might be on the form or the options might not be up to date.”
That solves the case then?
It does, something so small but finally fixed. Thanks so much for your prompt replies and help!
@ADoherty5 have you looked up the value of the property on your contact record, please? Your screenshot is showing the information updated in the form submission, however not the value of the property.
It seems like the property was not set however. Have you made sure in the form editor that the date option is there? Are you sure you selected during the submission? Can you please share a screenshot of the fields in the form editor?
