Currently, no simple method to enroll records in workflow for the condition of an association not existing between objects.

Could you maybe elaborate a bit more on the specific use case?
Which type of workflow are we talking about? What is the aim of the workflow or taking a step back, what do you want to do - ignoring HubSpot for a second.

Enroll records in workflow that have no association to another specific
object in simple fashion.
As example: Trigger all records in my custom object that don’t have an
association to a deal.
