I manage Hubspot for a client. Recently we discovered the Wordpress plugin connection that is authorised by my login with their Wordpress had disconnected. We did not know this had occurred for some time, only the absence of form submissions alerted us. Not notifications or alerts are sent in this instance. This resulted in no lead enquiries coming through for an unacceptable period of time, and this has been confirmed to have lost my client business.
Disconnection can be seen clearly in the Wordpress account, but this is both siloed to those with website admin access, and also passive and needs someone to visually inspect the connection within Wordpress to know it has disconnected. We also do not know what caused the disconnection.
We see better management of the status of the connection and the ability to manage some sort of push or email notification to some person as a priority.
The Social Media account connection within the Socials menu notifies the user when reauthorization is required, but there is nothing for a connection to the Hubspot-managed Wordpress plugin.
We would be happy for a notification to an email set in the plugin within Wordpress, or a notification within Hubspot to the account owner connected or to Super Admins. We just need something to avoid a loss of potential business to my client from occurring again!
