Hi,
I integrated Hubspot forms in my Wix website. The forms are in a iFrame in the website using the method hbspt.forms.create. It works well but I wanted to know if it is possible to have access at the source of the Wix website page. Right now when a user fills out the form, I get in Hubspot as the “Original Source”, the url of the form in the iframe not the one from the website. Is it a way to have access to that information with a Hubspot form in an iFrame?
Hey @LDekester
Thank you for reaching out!
I’ll tag a few experts that might be able to advise you in this case.
Hey @tjoyce @Bruno_Teixeira @Ben-M any thoughts about this?
Thanks
Sharon
Hello @LDekester ,
Did you install the Hubspot tracking code on your website ?
You should have the right original source if it’s installed.
Hi @Bruno_Teixeira maybe you can help. I am having the same issue as @LDekester . I have the tracking code installed. Issue here is that these submissions are not showing up correctly in Traffic Analysis report as they show up as Direct Traffic but not associated with the website URL I am using in Custom View (my customer manages multiple sites). Any workaround we can use?
If I go to to the form submission details in the timeline and click on the page where the form was submitted it opens a blank page.
Much apreciated!
Catarina
Why is this marked as “Solved”? There’s no solution here. ?
I have the same problem. Website traffic coming from “Direct” is less than 10%. But then when we see contacts they all seem to be direct. Sometimes even more than the direct visits you had.
My best guess is this happens because of the way forms are embedded in Wix as iframes. It is like having a mini page inside another page with the form in it.
That is distorting the metrics.
