We use lists to capture unengaged data and do a weekly delete of them. We also use this list at the end of workflows to capture unengaged data and add them to the workflow.
We have created a new active weekly delete list, meaning i now need to remove the old delete list from the end of workflows and add in the new one. However, it wont let me swap them as the new list is an active list - does anyone know why the data that hasn’t engaged with workflows, can’t be added to an active list at the bottom of a workflow?
If you’re referring to the workflow actions for adding and removing contacts from lists, only static lists can be used. Active lists are permanently scanning your CRM for contacts that match the filter criteria. The way they are set up contradicts adding/removing single contacts.
If you wanted to add contacts to an active list in a workflow, you would have to do so via a static list. The static list would be the one used at the end of the workflow.
In your active list, you can then also pull in that static list. The active list would filter for all previous criteria OR contact is member of static list.
